BL2: Week 2 Weigh In

Weigh in time again! Yay!:) I got a little off track this time because I weighed in last Sunday, but then I wasn't coming back to work till Wednesday, so it was like a week and 3 days between weigh ins... not that it helped me really! lol:)

First, I want to talk about the picture to the right. It's a screen shot of the app "Runkeeper." I love it! Basically, you pick if you want to do walking, running, hiking, swimming, etc. and it tracks (by GPS) where you go, your distance, pace, elevation and how many calories you burn. It's awesome!!

After you finish an activity, it gives you a summary and then you can look at the map of your route! Pretty cool!:) You can also sync it to Facebook ,so that your activities post automatically:)

I've been using this every time I go walking or running now. I still use MFP, but I just create a new workout and name it "Walk with Runkeeper" and use the calories burned from that. I figure it's more accurate since it knows my exact speed and elevation and what not. Anyways, I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a good app to track their exercise. It's free too!:)

Alright, so I weighed in on Wednesday, April 27th....

Previous Weight - 195.6

Current Weight - 193.4

Weight lost - 2.2 pounds.

Overall weight lost - 38 pounds!

Woo woo! Really close to 40! I'm hoping to hit 40 pounds by my next weigh in. That means a new Heart Rate Monitor for me!!! Yay!:)

People have been asking me lately "What's your goal weight?" Well, for now I'm saying 160. But I really don't know! The smallest I ever was, besides being like 8 years old, was 180 pounds, when I was working at UPS. At that time, I was wearing size 12 jeans, medium shirts and I had made a new hole in my belt because it was too big! Now I'm in size 16/14 jeans, large/medium shirts, and ONE hole away from my homemade belt hole!! So for now, 160 pounds seems like it would be a good size for me!

I don't want to be stick thin or anything. I just wanted to be healthy and be able to shop at normal stores. I wouldn't mind having some abs too! If I could ever wear a bikini, that would be a dream come true! I'll have to see how I'm feeling when I get closer to 160. That's still 30 pounds away!

So, I just want to get it off my chest... Yesterday, I splurged and ate Chinese food! I went over my calorie limit by 590!!!! But, I felt so guilty that I took Chief for a 5.25 mile walk! THEN, when I got home from the walk, I did Jillian Michael's 30 day Shred, level 2!!! I literally was SOAKED in sweat!! I mean, it looked like someone had poured a bucket of water on me!! I just had to stand there and dry before I even tried to sit down and catch my breath, LOL!! After that, I felt much better!!:)

Anyways, hopefully I do pretty good this week. I only have 2 more days of C25k left!! Can't believe it! Time to sign up for a 5k soon, who's with me?!:-D

Goodnight peeps!

Catching Up After Easter

Hi everyone! Sorry I have not written a blog in forever!! I guess I've just been lazy and not had too much to write about anyways!:) My apologies!

So let's see... what have I been up to? Well, I worked Wednesday and Thursday. Boring. Friday was Charlie and I's 6 month anniversary of being married! Yay!:) I know it's not that big of a deal, but we decided to splurge a little bit and go to Outback for dinner!

I really wanted the steak, so I planned ahead. The night before, I figured out how many calories was in everything and added it before even going. I also did Jillian Michael's No More Trouble Zones that day because it burns a ton of calories!! That way I could have some bread too:)

Saturday was rainy and cloudy out in the morning, but I still managed to do Couch to 5 k, Week 8, Day 3! It was really tough, but I made it! I tried to take a little nap when I finished, but I couldn't fall asleep:(

Around 1pm my sisters came over to my house and we went to Columbia for some Sushi and shopping! I took them to Sushi Sono for the first time. I think they enjoyed it:) It was nice outside by then, so we got some glamour shots in front of the lake! lol:)

After lunch, we went to Columbia mall. We went to Forever 21 which was PACKED, but I really wanted to see if I could fit into their clothes yet! I grabbed like 10 things to try on. Everything was totally different than my usual style. Rayna even made me try some shirt that I hated! lol

Once I started trying things on it was amazing!! EVERYTHING fit!! And by the way, forever 21 doesn't even have XL in their store!! Only Large!! :):):):):) I was so happy! It definitely made my day!:) And the shirt Rayna picked out... I ended up liking it!! Hahaha! It was so different, but looked good surprisingly!:) I ended up getting 3 shirts! Yayyyyyyyyy!:)

After the mall we headed over to Babies R' Us to see if we could find some cute Easter stuff for Maddie!:)

Unfortunately, because I'm a procrastinator, they were out of everything!!! We ended up going over to Target where they had way more stuff! Lots of cute outfits and Easter stuff. Although they were sold out of baskets, but we improvised in a cute way... I think. lol:) In the end her Easter basket turned out great!:)

All in all it was a great day with my sisters!! We had lots of laughs and tons of fun!!

Sunday was Easter! We went over to Charlie's parents house. But first, we made green bean casserole with those French's onion crisp things. It was our first time making it, but I think it turned out good!:)

I was going to try to log everything I ate into MFP, but I just couldn't keep up! I had so many different things, it would've taken forever! I know I definitely went over, but hopefully not by much.

I tried to keep my portions at a decent size and I only snacked on a few Easter egg M&M's!! lol

Here's a picture of Madison wearing her "My First Easter" outfit that I put in her basket! She's so adorable!!:)

While we were at Charlie's parents house, my Dad called last minute and said that we were having everyone over for dinner! Uh oh... lol. Man, I was stuffed already and now I had to eat again?! AHhH!
Oh well, I had a little break in between the two families. Plus, we didn't even eat dessert at Charlie's parents house:)

Dinner at my parent's house was good:) I only ate a little bit since I was still stuffed. We had fat free frozen yogurt for dessert! Thanks for thinking of me Mom!:) It was yummy!
We hung out for awhile there just chatting with everyone. Good quality family time!:)

So the whole day I never logged anything. I didn't work out either! I felt pretty guilty at the end of the day, but I'm making up for it today!:)

Earlier today, around noon, my sisters and Mom came over to my house and we went to Katie's house so they could meet Maddie for the first time!:)

She was wearing this cute little yellow outfit that I had put in her Easter basket. She's so precious!! She got lots of attention and then took her first trip to Chipotle with us!!:) She's such a good baby! Barely cries and is so alert and interactive! Love her!

When I got back home I decided to take Chief for a walk at Laurel Lake. He's never been before!:) He liked it, but after only 1 time around he was panting up a storm and really dragging. Usually he walks way faster than me, but today I was practically pulling him! lol! Once we got in the car he was drooling everywhere!! The whole car was shaking from him panting. I did give him some water, but it didn't help much.

Once we got home I gave him more water and made him lay down in the basement where it's really cold. Now he's fine, sleeping on the bed next to me:)

Well, I can't think of much else to write about! I'm just waiting for Charlie to get home from the shooting range so we can go for a run. I'm going to attempt C25k Week 9, Day 1 and Charlie will maybe do Week 1, day 1! I hope so!:) He's already lost 6 pounds!! Woo hoo!:O

I weigh in on Wednesday because that's the first day I go back this week, so I will update then!

Bye bye!

BL2: Week 1 Weigh In

FYI, BL2 stands for Biggest Loser 2, in case you see me use that abbreviation again:)

I don't really have too much to write about. This week has been pretty uneventful. Tuesday and Wednesday we babysat Madison which was fun:) She's so cute and such a good baby!! Charlie got to feed her, burp her and change her diaper! And I helped Katie wash her hair:)

Wednesday night I went to the firehouse because Charlie did a trade for someone for the second half of the shift, so I was bored. I brought my workout clothes so that I could exercise in the boathouse. They have an elliptical in there and other various weight machines. The elliptical is awesome though! It burns so many calories. Now I want one! My sister Roch and I worked out for probably 1 and a half hours or so. It was fun:)

I worked Thursday and Friday night. Thursday sucked because I got floated to Medical Care to sit for a patient. Soooo boring!! I was so glad to be in the NICU on Friday!! It was kind of busy but I was glad it went by fast!:) Plus I had Caitlin there to hang out with and talk about how much sugar is in fruit and what kind of exercises are best, etc. Love it!:)

I'm so happy because Saturday night I got Charlie to download my favorite app in the whole wide world, MyFitnessPal!!:) Yay!! I'm so happy that he's gonna try to use it. I hope he keeps up with it. So far I think he likes it:)

We started talking about certain foods and how it sucks that peanut butter is so high in calories so I suggested we go to Trader Joe's and see what kind of peanut butter they have, as well as other foods.

I've only been to a Trader Joe's a few times and it was a long time ago when I definitely didn't care about eating healthy so I was excited to go!

We got there and it was really cool to shop around. I wanted to get everything! lol:) We ended up getting...

Canned salmon, lettuce, cucumbers, plums, liquid eggs, regular eggs, fat free milk, turkey meatballs, plantain chips, dried orange flavored cranberries (I didn't want orange flavored, oops lol), dried mango's, dried assorted fruit and bones for Chief!:) When we got home we made hard boiled eggs, they were delicious!! We used our egg timer that we got from Williams Sonoma. It works AWESOME!

I would suggest everyone get one because our eggs came out perfect! Basically you wait till the rim of the egg turns black at the line of the way you want it cooked. Soft, medium or hard. If that makes sense... lol It's simple. The eggs were perfect on the inside and super easy to peel! Love it!:)

I think I will definitely go back to Trader Joe's again. At least for certain things, but not everything. It's definitely not cheap. Our total was like $45. Not too bad:)

Oh, so yeah, the whole reason I wrote this blog... my weigh in! Here we go...

End of BL1 Weight - 198.4

Start of BL2 Weight - 202.8

Current Weight - 195.6

Weight lost in 1 week - 7.2 Pounds

Weight lost since BL1 - 2.8 Pounds

Total lost so far - 35.8 pounds!!! Woooo!!! Gettin close to 40!!:) Can't wait because then I get my heart rate monitor!!:) Yay!!

Ok, I think that's all I have to talk about now!!:) I'll write soon!

Toodles!

Anna

P.S. - The funny thing is... I never even looked at the peanut butter at Trader Joe's! LOL! The whole reason we went!! Silly me...

This is your life, are you who you want to be?

This is your life, is it everything you dreamed that it would be, when the world was younger, and you had everything to lose...

I love that song. It always makes me stop and think, am I happy with my life? Is it what I want it to be?
No, it wasn't. But now that I made the effort to make it better, I love it.

For anyone who says "I've tried to lose weight, I just can't do it."

Stop lying to yourself. That just means you didn't actually try, or, you're lying to yourself saying "you tried" when really you were sitting on the couch, watching TV, and eating potato chips. You have to really want it. You have to try with your whole heart and give it everything you've got. If you truly want it, you can lose weight.

I would know. I used the same excuses. I always would attempt to lose weight and fail. But that's because I wasn't giving it my all and I didn't really want it. You have to get in the mindset that you can do it. You have to believe in yourself, be strong, have confidence, and don't be afraid to push yourself past your limits.

"I just don't have the motivation, or the time..."

Yes you do. Another excuse. Do you think I really wanted to work a 12 hour shift, come home and go for a run? No. I wanted to go to bed and get as much sleep as possible before going back to work that night. But I would think, is losing 30 minutes of sleep really going to kill me? No. That 30 minutes of running is going to make a difference when I get on the scale though.

Everyone has time to work out. If you have time to go out to eat, to sit down and watch your favorite TV show, to go on facebook, to stop by McDonald's and shove a cheeseburger in your mouth, then yes, you have time to exercise!!!

You seriously have to stop the excuses, stop lying to yourself! If you honestly want to lose weight, you can. Trust me. I was the most lazy, unmotivated person ever. But something in me just snapped and I decided "this is it" and I changed my whole entire life. I didn't just change the way I eat, or add a little exercise to my daily routine. I changed everything. I always stop and think about what I'm putting in my mouth before I do it. I have to think if that piece of candy is really worth it. I am constantly thinking about what exercise I'm going to do and if I don't workout I feel so guilty. I've been in bed before, about to go to sleep, but I was overcome with guilt for not working out, so I got out of bed and worked out!

I'm not saying this is easy. It's definitely hard. It's not just a temporary thing, it's a lifestyle change. But if you're committed to it, and you're honest with yourself, then you will succeed.

I don't mean to sound so cliche, but if I can do it, you can do it.

Now that my rant is over, I can tell you about my awesome day!

Yesterday Phebe came over to my house around 2pm and we went to Wheaton Regional Park. It was a beautiful day out. The temperature was in the 80's. It was actually kind of hot!

We walked through the wooded path and around the fishing lake first, then around the garden/pond area twice! Our second time around I ran for about 3/4 of the distance. It was probably only 5 minutes or so, but it felt great. I'm not used to running outside too much since I usually run on the treadmill, so it's a little different, but I loved it!

We walked for a total of 57 minutes at a brisk pace. Darn, 3 minutes shy of an hour! lol:)

As you can see from my pictures, there's tons of turtles there and they love to sunbathe. I think they're actually over populated. There are so many!! There's also snapping turtles, which is not cool.

When we were going around the ponds, there was a small snapping turtle trying to cross the path, so I was going to pick him up and just move him to the other side but he jumped and snapped at me! And hissed!! Rude. I was like "forget you then!' and left him lol. Idiot.

After our walk we went to Columbia Mall. We went in to Sephora... so dangerous! I got those two nail polish colors, "Ocean Love Potion" and "Break-a-Legwarmer" lol:) I love them! Phebe got 3 really cute purple colors and some mascara! Successful trip.

After the mall we stopped by Dick's Sporting Good's and shopped around. I'm starting to like that place a lot! Uh oh... lol:) Phebe got some new work out capri's and I got a new workout tank top and a sports bra. Both purple! Yay!:)

Next up was dinner. We wanted to get sushi since it's not too bad in the calorie department. If I haven't mentioned, Phebe is also using MFP and doing AWESOME! So now we can eat healthy together too!:)

I had heard of this place called "Sushi Sono" in Columbia. A lot of people said good things about it. So we went there. It's in a really unsuspecting place. Office buildings, parking lots. Then you get to it and it's so cute! It's right on the water too! It's such a quaint little spot with a wonderful view.

The service was excellent. The waiters even dress up in traditional (I think) Japanese outfits. They're really pretty.

The sushi was fabulous! I might even say better than Hanami in College Park! (Yikes!) It was SO fresh. It also came out super fast! I was impressed.

She turns really Asian looking when she eats Sushi! lol
(Sorry, my blog is being stupid and won't let me write text next to my pictures!!)

I ordered a green salad, shrimp tempura roll, Boston roll, and a royal crab roll. Mmm! The green salad was typical, shrimp tempura roll was good, Boston roll was amazing! It didn't even have mayo and lettuce like the ones at Hanami but I liked it better! It was so fresh tasting. The shrimp was really yummy!

The royal crab roll was interesting! I was kind of scared at first lol. The description said "Lump crab meat with fresh spicy seaweed, topped with warm mayo sauce and bonito flakes"
I didn't even know what bonito flakes were, but ordered it anyway lol. It's the one on the left in the picture:)

It was REALLY good! Very different than the usual rolls I get. You bite it and first taste crab, then crunchiness, then a really delicious warm mayo taste. Fabulous! I loved it. Although I just googled "bonito flakes" and it turns out it's a type of fish, in the tuna category, that they smoke and then make shavings out of... *shivers* Ummm, but either way, it was still good!! lol. I might just ask for no flakes next time, but it might change the flavor since it did give it a smokiness^_^

Phebe got Philly rolls also and they were great! I'm usually not a fan of Philly rolls, but I actually liked these. So fresh! That was my favorite part about this place... everything was super fresh lol:)

They give you this really cute gum with the check. Really cool! I like that much better than mints!:)

To end our already wonderful day, we went to the nail salon. Unfortunately, the one I always go to is closed on Mondays, so we went up the street to another one. It's pretty decent. We got there at 7pm and they close at 8pm. There was only 2 people working and they already had other people waiting so it kind of sucked. But when we finally got taken care of it was good:)

The pedicures were good, not as good as Maxi Nails, but I did enjoy the massage I got:) They did a really good job on Phebe's eyebrows and I also got a fill in while I was there. I felt bad because they stayed open past their closing time and I made Phebe wait on me for so long lol. She made my nails look really natural which was cool, but the grinder tool she used hurt! It definitely was more painful than the other place I go to, so I will avoid getting fill ins there.

All in all, a GREAT day! I haven't hung out with Phebe in a long time, so it was really nice to catch up and spend quality time together! Love ya Phebe!^_^

Well, it's 6am and I really need to try and go back to sleep! Been awake since 330am. I guess that's what happens when I fall asleep at 10pm:/ lol.

Charlie and I are watching baby Maddie today!! I'm super excited! I'll take some pics:)

Have a great day and be inspired!!

Biggest Loser 2: First Weigh In

Hello everyone! Hope you all have had a great weekend so far.  I know I have!!!

As you know, Thursday I found out I won the biggest loser!:) Yay. Friday morning when I got off work, I went with Alicia to McDonalds and celebrated with a Sausage Egg and Cheese McGriddle, a hash brown, and a small orange juice! It was awesome. I haven't had McDonalds breakfast in forever!!

We wasted some time there, chatting, waiting for Montgomery Mall to open. When we got to the mall, we shopped around the new Forever 21 they opened. It's huge! Two levels. Tons of clothes! I'm kind of excited for when I can start shopping there!:)

We went to Torrid and tried on a ton of clothes! It was amazing. Every pair of jeans I put on fit perfectly. I even tried on some jeans from the clearance rack that I remember trying on before and they didn't fit then and now they do!!!:) I went from a 18 to a 16!!:)

I also tried on lots of shirts. I'm usually a size 2 at Torrid, which is a 2X. But now I can wear a size 0 there!! So... Large!!!:) Yayyyyy! It was an awesome feeling! I got 2 pairs of jeans, and 2 shirts!:) So happy!

Saturday was fun! First, Charlie and I went to Fogo De Chao. It was WONDERFUL!! I got some stuff at the salad bar and of course TONS of meat! Mmmmmm!! I love their house special and filet mignon. It's delicious! Charlie really enjoyed it too! Of course, I had to get dessert. I love every dessert! I think it's my favorite part of the meal... not that I always get it. I wish! I got the Molten Chocolate Cake with Vanilla Ice Cream! A-MAZ-ING! I had to take a picture of it:)

After dinner, we went to the Tattoo Convention. It was pretty interesting. LOTS of people with tattoos and piercings. Got to see a lot of people getting tattoos. I wish I was getting one!! Hehehe:) Overall it was ok. Not amazing or anything. The cool part was when this lady came up to me and asked if I wanted to get my picture taken! I was like "Sure!" lol.

While I was waiting, I met up with my tattoo artist, Dee, and her crew:) They were also getting their pictures taken. It was pretty neat. The photographer took some up close pictures of my chest piece and my back, and some with my face in them:) It would be awesome if they end up in a magazine!:)

I had a pretty fun night. Fogo was definitely my favorite part! I can't wait to go back again!!!:)

Now for the weigh in stuff. It's going to be a little confusing since I'll have a new "starting weight" but my plan is to keep subtracting whatever I lose each week, from my previous weight at the end of the Biggest Loser 1.
At least for blog and myfitnesspal purposes. But for the biggest loser, it will be whatever I lose from this new starting weight... if that makes sense!!!

Previous weight (4/7-End of Biggest Loser 1) - 198.4

Current weight (4/10-Start of Biggest Loser 2) - 202.8

So yes, I theoretically did gain 4.4 pounds, but mind you, I ate bad on Friday and DEFINITELY ate bad on Saturday, plus I had 3 meals today before coming in to work and it's only been 3 days since my last weigh in. I wasn't TRYING to lose for this weigh in because it's the first weigh in. I rather be heavier to start because I know I can get back to 198.4, if not less, by the next weigh in!:) So yeah. Hopefully that makes sense to you all.

When I write my blogs from now on, I will give you my weight lost from "End of Biggest loser 1" and from "Start of biggest loser 2". Hopefully it won't get too complicated... lol

Anyways... time to get back to work. I will update later! Thanks for getting me to 1,000+ views by the way!

Week 12 Weigh In/Results of the Biggest Loser

You might wonder why I'm putting a picture of Fogo De Chao in my blog, considering it's an all you can eat meat and salad bar restaurant! Well, because I decided that when the Biggest Loser was over, that I'd splurge and go here to celebrate! To be able to eat whatever I want and however much I want, without worrying about counting calories or anything like that! Just 1 day, of course;)

Charlie and I are going to go to the Tattoo Convention in Baltimore City on Saturday around 3ish. After we walk around there for a little bit we're heading over to Fogo for our 7 o'clock reservations!:) I cannot wait!! I have only been once before, and I loved it! Charlie hasn't been yet so I'm really excited for him to experience how amazing it is!!

Before I get to the results I just wanted to say that on Tuesday, April 5th at 7:40pm I became an aunt for the first time to Madison Teresa Olazagasti!! 7lbs 11oz 21 inches!! She is amazing and perfect! The cutest little baby I have ever seen! It felt awesome to meet her for the first time. I was in awe! I never even pictured what she might look like, so to finally get to see her was so cool! Congrats Katie & Raffy!!!

I weighed in today. My final weigh in for The Biggest Loser Part 1! I did really good this week and only had fast food ONCE while we were at the hospital waiting for Madison to arrive, so I pretty much stuck to my goal of no dining out!:) Here's how it went...

Previous weight - 202.4

Current weight - 198.4

I made it to ONE-DERLAND!!!!!!!!!!!

4 pound loss. Total lost so far = 33 pounds!!!

So so so so so happy! Onederland is a term they use on MyFitnessPal (my app I religiously use) for when you get into the 100's!!! It feels amazing! That was the main thing I wanted to accomplish by the end of the Biggest Loser, was to get under 200 pounds, and I finally did it!!!:'):'):')

I love my co-workers!! When I got to work today, they had balloons and cards waiting for me!!:') So sweet! I wasn't expecting it at all!

I really want to thank my amazing family, friends, co-workers, and MFP friends for being so awesome! Everyone encouraged, supported, inspired, pushed, and motivated me to come this far!! I could have never done it by myself!

Charlie - You've been so proud of me throughout this whole journey and even though you aren't as motivated as me, you're still trying and losing some weight! I love you so much! Thank you for all the goal rewards so far!:)

Alicia - You have been my running buddy and an amazing friend to me!! You are doing such an awesome job and I'm so proud of you for losing all the weight you have so far!! I love that you go to the gym all the time and burn tons of calories! You rock girl! Love you!

Phebe - My amazing friend who has been so supportive and proud of me! And luckily my motivation rubbed off on you and now you're doing myfitnesspal too and accomplishing so much!! You will catch up to me in no time and we will be back to sharing clothes again!! I'm sooooo proud of you! Keep up the amazing work!!

Tiara - My team leader!!! Thanks for being so awesome to work with!! You always were so happy to do my weigh ins and always congratulated me on any weight I lost! You are so encouraging and motivating! I love it! Thank you so much for the balloons and cards!!:)

Caitlin, Darla, Erica, Kerry, Leena, and Allison - Thank you girls for being super supportive of me and always looking forward to my weigh ins!! You girls always make me feel so proud of myself and I love being able to talk to you about everything!!:)

To everyone in the NICU. THANK YOU! I love how everyone always asks me how I'm doing, if I'm winning, telling me I look great. So many amazing compliments and it helped soo much!!

Even though this Biggest Loser is over, I'm still going to continue to lose weight. You can count on that!! I'm signing up for the next Biggest Loser and can't wait to do it again!!

Unfortunately I'm the only PCT tonight, so I gotta get back to work!! Thanks for reading! I will continue to update as always!!

Thank you everyone!!!!!!

The Suspense!

This is my last blog before I found out the results of the biggest loser!! I'm so nervous... the suspense is killing me!!:(

But besides that, I'm having a great 4 days off from work so far:)

Yesterday I went to Target when I got off work in the morning. I just wanted to see if I could find a new, cheap pair of jeans since most of mine are starting to get too big. I tried on some skinny jeans in a size 16. One size smaller than I wear now. They fit!:) Perfect! Although for some reason I had to get short, and I usually wear regular... hmm, did I shrink height wise too? lol:)

I went to bed around 9:30am and woke up at 1:00pm. I wanted to work out but was way too tired! I set my alarm for 1:30pm and slept a little longer instead:)

I ran a few errands, got my eyebrows done, my nails painted, picked up some booze. Then I was off to Alicia's house!:)
We had a little housewarming party for our friend Sarco. It was fun, BUT, I hadn't eaten anything since 4am at work and I drank 1 and 1/2 fourlokos! Needless to say, that didn't go over too well and I ended up passing out at like 10:00pm!! Ughh. I'm so lame!

Even though I hardly at anything that day, the fourloko made me go over my calories because it's 660 calories a can!! Yikes!

Today I stayed in bed till 4:00pm then I finally got up and cleaned the house up a little bit while waiting for Charlie to come home from hanging out with his Dad.

We took Chief for a 30 minute walk and I jogged for a few minutes at the end:) After that, we went to the movie theater and saw "Insidious" !!!!!! Wow... scariest movie I have EVER, EVER seen!! It was terrifying!! The whole time I had my head against Charlie's shoulder and we were squeezing each others hands! It was really that bad!! But I definitely recommend everyone go see it! Such a good scare!

Tomorrow we are going to take the Metro into DC and see the Cherry Blossoms! I can't wait! I want to walk around and see everything while burning lots of calories! Plus, I can't wait to use my camera and get lots of good pictures:)

So far my goal for the week of not going out to eat has been successful! Even though Charlie got Chinese food with our roommate tonight, I managed to not eat any of it! That was hard!

They sent out at email at work announcing that they are going to do a Biggest Loser 2! I'm definitely going to do it again. It's such good motivation. I love competition!;) I still have about 40 more pounds to lose before I reach my goal weight, so bring it on!!

Here's my calendar where I write all my exercises that I do. As you can see, I worked out EVERY DAY except the 5th and the 22nd!:) Sorry for the bad handwriting! I'm so proud of myself for keeping up the motivation to work out! I never would've thought I could do so much!!:)

Well, I guess I should get some sleep since we're gonna try to start our day on the early side. I will upload some pics of the cherry blossoms later!

Oh, after looking up the meaning of an Amaryllis flower, here's what I found...

"The amaryllis has come to symbolize pride, determination and radiant beauty."

Sounds good to me!:)

Goodnight<3
